    The integrated resort’s “Vaxta sama sama, panalo”campaign ends on a high note, with 100% of its rostered team members vaccinated

Entertainment City, Philippines—The country’s iconic entertainment and leisure destination, Okada Manila, completed “Vaxta sama sama, panalo,” its vaccination program for team members and their qualified dependents last October 7, 2021.

“We’re happy that our team members and their families are now even safer from the threats of COVID-19,” shares Okada Manila President and COO Byron Yip. “As of this month, 100% of our rostered team members have gotten the jab. This gives us the confidence that we at Okada Manila can serve our guests and visitors better while keeping the resort a safe space for everyone. We hope that more Filipinos and businesses in the country follow suit, so we can all play our part in protecting each other from the virus. This will also help facilitate economic recovery.”

3,500 team members and 1,500 of their qualified dependents were vaccinated through this initiative. In addition, 2,000 team members also chose to get vaccinated through their respective LGUs. Moving forward, the integrated resort also plans to offer booster shots to its employees and their family members, when the Philippine government and public health agencies issue the clearance.

So guests and visitors can continue to experience 5-star services in the safest way possible, Okada Manila rolled out “I’m OK at Okada,” which is a strengthened reiteration of the 3T campaign. The resort continuously abides by IATF and DOT operation guidelines and implements its globally-recognized health and safety protocols. In addition to having a fully-vaccinated staff, the integrated resort makes use of the latest sanitation and disinfection technologies such as UV robots, conducts round-the-clock disinfection of common areas and rooms, carries out regular health checks for employees and guest, and many others.

In recognition of its industry-leading health and safety protocols, Manila’s grand icon received Forbes Travel Guide and Sharecare’s VERIFIED seal, the World Travel and Tourism’s Safe Travels Stamp, and the Department of Tourism’s Safety Seal.
